Club Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Mountains is a 3-star family-friendly resort situated in the Blue Ridge Foothills on a 2,400-acre property with Lake Lure at its center. The resort features a golf course, a marina, and 2 outdoor swimming pools. Dining is available at one of the 3 onsite restaurants, which feature American cuisine. On-site recreational amenities include a hot tub, fitness center, sauna, and golf course. Guests can enjoy activities such as kayaking, water skiing, and sailing nearby, as well as fishing and rowing/canoeing. The nearest airport is Asheville Regional Airport, approximately 21 miles away by car. The resort also offers Braille signage, handicap parking, first floor access ramps, and a portable pool lift. Wi-Fi is available in public areas, and the property provides a car park, room service, and laundry service. The resort has served as the location for several hit movies including Dirty Dancing and Last of the Mohicans.
